چکیده

Drymaria cordata (L.) Willd. ex Roem. & Schult. commonly known as ‘West Indian Chick weed’ is a potential herb used in traditional medicine the treatment of many ailments. The main active principles therapeutically are drymaritin and isovitexin. Arbuscular mycorrhizae (AM) symbiotic associations between plants soil fungi that play vital role plant growth development well quality. In present investigation, an attempt was made to determine responses vitro regenerated inoculation with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi. Both normal were inoculated Glomus mosseae fasciculatum. All showed significant morphological results over control after period 30, 60 90 days polyhouse pot experiment. percent colonization number spores rhizosphere significantly more than plants. Inoculation fasciculatum maximum effect. Mycorrhizal increased biomass, root shoot length, height, leaf area, branches, nodes per branch internodal length. Such increases related intensity association root. These findings indicate can be suitable alternative method improve cordata.

Anxiolytic effect of hydroethanolic extract of Drymaria cordata L Willd.

Drymaria cordata hydroethanolic extract (DCHE) at 25, 50 and 100 mg/kg (p.o.) was administered to study anxiolytic effect. Different models for anxiolytic activity viz. Hole board, Open field, Elevated plus maze, Light/dark exploration model were used. In the hole board model, there was dose dependent and significant increase in the numbers of head pokes and the time of head dipping in the trea...

Response of Sesbania grandiflora to Inoculation of Soil with Vesicular-Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi.

A greenhouse experiment was conducted to determine the influence of two tropical isolates of Glomus fasciculatum and Glomus mosseae on the nutrient uptake and growth of Sesbania grandiflora. Inoculation of sterile soil with the fungi significantly improved growth and nutrient uptake by S. grandiflora, but the response of the legume was markedly better when the soil was inoculated with G. fascic...

Response of micropropagated potatoes transplanted to peat media to post-vitro inoculation with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi and soil bacteria

Positive effects of dual inoculation with some combinations of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) and bacteria on the growth of micropropagated potato (Solanum tuberosum) transplanted to a peat-based substrate were found in three different cultivation systems — pots, greenhouse or shadowhouse beds. Some inoculation treatments, e.g. with Glomus etunicatum, Glomus fistulosum together with bacteri...

Enhancement of clover growth by inoculation of P-solubilizing fungi and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi.

This study evaluated the synergism between several P-solubilizing fungi isolates and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi to improve clover ( Trifolium pratense) growth in the presence of Araxá apatite. Clover was sown directly in plastic pots with 300g of sterilized washed sand, vermiculite and sepiolite 1:1:1 (v:v:v) as substrate, and grown in a controlled environment chamber. The substrate was ferti...
